BEACH VENDOR SUPPORT
Baht 384,000 to the people who are working front of the Holiday
Inn Resort Phuket. Baht 16.000.00 was given to 24 persons who lost
all their income opportunities after the tsunami as assistance for
the months of January, February, March and April 2005.

Scholarships for Phuket Children
Scholarships were given to 175 children, who lost parents , or
whose parent's financial situation did not allow them to purchase
the necessary books, meals and other necessary items to continue
schooling. The scholarships were selected by a committee organized
by our Quality and Training Manager Mrs. Nongluck Jansakul, who
herself visited all schools and had detailed information about all
the families who received the support. Scholarships were given to
children from schools in Koh Sirey, Sai Nam Yen, Ban Kalim, Ban
Wat Suwan, Childwatch Phuket and Worldvision.
Total support: Baht 2,247,903.-
Ban Pak Trium Fishing Boat Project
The donation was given to the Rotary Club of Patong beach, who
adopted this fishing village and rebuilt houses and fishing boats
for more then 25 families. The Ban Pak Trim Villagers have moved
into their new houses on the 5th of May 2005 and have started to
fish again and will soon be able to make their own living again.For

Fishing Boats Ban Kalim
A donation of Baht 300,000 has been given to 5 fishermen in the
Ban Kalim Village, who did not receive any government support. They
are no able to rebuild their long tail boats and can start fishing
or transferring tourists to the near by island.

Summary
A small amount of Baht 7,697 is still left in the tsunami account
and we will forward this amount to the Tsunami relief fund of the
Rotary Club of Patong and close our relief fund operation. We can
confirm that all the donations we received from you were used for
immediate and direct help and no donation money was spend on any
kind of administration. The fund donations are all documented and
audited. We thank you all for your generous help and support and
can assure you that your donations made a huge difference for people
in need. On behalf of all the school children, beach vendors, fisherman
whom you supported a huge Krab Khun Kraband thank you. Our tsunami
relief fund is now closed.
